Meet Amanda

Meet Amanda. Amanda will be competing in the Miss Teen Idaho coming up in Febraury. It was so much fun taking picutres of this girl. Not only was she so fun, energic, but she just had a very easy going personality, which makes me job so much fun. She was fabulous, just look at some of these pictures.

Sneek Peak of Jennifer and Nathan's wedding

Yesterday I had the fabulous opportunity to attend Jennifer and Nathan's wedding. It was the perfect day for a wedding. The bride and Groom were happy and everything went so well. Everyone was happy, and it couldn't have been more beautiful. I wish this happy couple every bit of happincess. Thanks Jennifer and Nathan for letting me be apart of your special day!

The Ingram Family

I have some of the greatest cousins in the world. My cousin Jennifer and her sweet little family are visiting this week from Utah. Everytime we try to get together and take some pictures. The last time I took this good looking bunchs' pictures was close to 3 years ago when their cute little Savannah was just a few months old. It was about time. They did fantastic! After about 35 minutes into it the kids started to get restless but they were great. Thanks guys! I had a nice time being with you.

The reception

In September of last year I was privileged to take engagement pictures for Jen and Kasey. This cute couple got married in January. Jen asked me if I would come and take some pictures of their wedding reception here in town. Of course I couldn't refuse. It was a fun evening. Nice to see a lot of faces I hadn't seen for quite some time. Congratulations Jen and Kasey! I am so happy for you guys!!!!

Meet the Laney's

This amazingly cute family belongs to my sister Rachel. She has two beautiful girls that from birth have looked identical to each other. It was so much fun to see these two little sisters interact with each other. Ava, the oldest is so good to her little sister Olivia. They are such a sweet and gentle family. What happens when you wake up one day realizing you have two passion in life: your family and a love for photography? And you just can't seem to let either one go? Well, I will try to tell you. You wake up after the 10th time during the middle of the night, why? Oh ya, you have a baby that won't sleep through the night.

What happens when your baby has just finished his third feeding, your toddler has come down to inform you that he has wet the bed and you are wide awake? You run to the computer that luckily is still on and you jot down all the crazy ideas that are running through your head because you aren't allowed to sleep.

So you finally fall asleep only to be woken back up to start your crazy day. You are so tired, your kids are already yelling at you to feed them breakfast and your baby is so tired because like you, he didn't sleep either. Yep, its 7 am and your day has already begun. No such thing as sleeping in. One day you can dream about that.

By mid afternoon you are so completely exhausted that you fall asleep while reading your children their stories before naps. Then you realize that these little ones that you have been entrusted with are so cute that you wouldn't trade them for anything. Then it dawns on you, you are so lucky to have the best of both worlds, craziness included. No studio, no babysitters (although that would be nice). Just you and your family, and your passion for photography. At home. Loving every minute of every day.

This is my life. I am happy.
