The reception

In September of last year I was privileged to take engagement pictures for Jen and Kasey.  This cute couple got married in January.  Jen asked me if I would come and take some pictures of their wedding reception here in town.  Of course I couldn't refuse.  It was a fun evening.  Nice to see a lot of faces I hadn't seen for quite some time.  Congratulations Jen and Kasey! I am so happy for you guys!!!!

Meet the Laney's

 This amazingly cute family belongs to my sister Rachel.  She has two beautiful girls that from birth have looked identical to each other.  It was so much fun to see these two little sisters interact with each other. Ava, the oldest is so good to her little sister Olivia.  They are such a sweet and gentle family. Thanks for letting my take your pictures! What cute family!!!!



Jen and Kasey

Last weekend I had the privilege of taking this cute couples pictures.  They were so easy to work with and they were so fun to hang out with.  They are in love and you could sense it while we were together.  He really loves her and she really loves him.  You could see it as plain as day on their faces. Thanks for a fun evening.

Rachel at 24 weeks

This is my sister Rachel who is expecting her second daughter in Feburary. She was too cute to not talk about.  She is feeling much better this time around and she is starting to realize that having a second baby means starting over again. There will be about a 4 year difference between this baby and her first child. So she will be having a baby again for what will feel like the first time.  Good luck Rachel! Thanks for having girls! Now I can spoil another one if I can't have my own.

This is Me

This is Me.  The one who is always hiding behind the camera.  This is me, the MOM, who like all other moms, fixes bobos, cuts, wipes tears, and calms down a frightened boy after he has had a bad dream.  I am the mom who cooks meals, cleans up messes, gets yelled at from time to time by her sweet children.  I have been working on this wellness challenge for the last 3 weeks and it has been a struggle for me to get a perfect score.  There are times when my husband has been asking me to bake Zucchini Bread for the third day in a row with chocolate chips added. Who can resist that? It doesn't matter what kind of rules there are, I am taking a sugar day.  But I am still mantaining my weight at a steady weight. That is good. I am getting tired of working out. How do I make myself enjoy that? I am still wondering the same thing.
So this is Me right now.  Still have a lot to improve on but one step at a time. I am postive I will get there. This just may take alittle bit longer than I thought.

The B family

To say I loved taking pictures of this family is an understatment! This family was one of my favorites. This sweet family is in our ward and we just love them. In August of last year they welcomed their sweet little Kean into the world.  He is so sweet!  It was so cold so we had to make this fast. They were such great sports and they turned out beautiful.
This family was so photogenic! I couldn't believe it!

J & B

While my cousin was in town with her sweet little family we decided to take some pictures since they hadn't had them since their little girl was born. We had such a fun time. Jen is my cousin and she is such a great mom. I watched her quite abit while they were in town with her children and she was very tender with them. Jen and Brad are still very much in love. I loved watching them interact with each other. They are still very much in love with each other. They were so cute!
